Woodhouse Farm and Garden CIC is a Community Interest Company set up to save Woodhouse a small farm on the outskirts of Lichfield. With it's roots firmly in Staffordshire history as part of the Capability Brown designed Fisherwick Estate. We invite you to come and enjoy this peaceful oasis and support the project by purchasing some of its traditional farm produce.

Community Supported Ariculture  is a partnership between the community and grower, sharing the risks, responsibilities and rewards.

Those joining the CSA are commiting to purchasing a veg share for the season, getting involved in work afternoons and enjoying a share of the  bounty of fruit and veg  grown here on the farm

We need your help to improve facilities at  Woodhouse Farm and Garden, do you have some spare time and would like to get involved in the garden or maybe a bit of DIY, always something to fix around here. You can also keep up to date with what is going on or events by joining out newsletter database 

 

Project Pigsty is Complete

Work is finally complete on our new community room Project Pigsty. Open Friday and Saturday for refreshments and homemade cake we hope to compliment your vist and offer a place to purchase your farm produce.

 

COMMUNITY GOOD

For a number of years we have been working with local youth groups, from building benches with the cubs to holding sing alongs around the camp fire for the guides. We also welcome group visits for tours around the garden, volunteering and other activities.

Come along to the farm Friday or Saturday 11-4, purchase a selection of seasonal farm produce.  Don't forget to say hello to the animals or have a walk around the walled garden

October may be turning cooler but we have lots of lovely produce to cheer you up including apples and blackberries for crumbles and pies, tomatoes for warming bowls of soup and sauces, plus all you need for a taste Sunday roast.
